Sometimes the actual birth moment can fly by and yet there is this calm and still in those first two days after baby's arrival where practically everyone around stands in rapture at this new beautiful creation. This is the perfect time for a "fresh 48 session!" Mom is a bit more rested, and things have settled down, it's often a great time for some sweet, cuddled family pics and capturing those little, tiny fingers and big, beautiful eyes.
My focus during birth photography or fresh 48 sessions isn't just on baby but on mom and dad too. Your relationship and strength is what brought this little one into the world. Your love and joy and all those crazy overwhelming emotions are a huge part of your little one's birth story!

The Importance of Birth Photography
I have had four kids, including twins, of my own, each with their own beautiful birth experiences. I only had my last birth documented through photography however and, looking back, I wish I would have had the others professionally captured as well.
I am so passionate about capturing this important day for you! The day our little miracles decide to make their appearances can be a whirlwind! Moms and dads are a little too preoccupied (to say the least) with their important work to worry about grabbing a camera.
I am here for you! If you would like, I would even be happy to pray with you and for you and encourage you as you welcome your new precious little one. (Know that if I am in the room, I will probably already be praying silently for you!) Birth is natural and beautiful, and I am passionate about supporting moms, their birth choices and tearing down the fears and stigmas that tend to overwhelm us so easily.
