Christmas Mini-Sessions with Santa are *$175 plus tax. Sessions will be approx. 5-10 min each and include a minimum of 8 and as much as 25 high resolution digital images. A print release is included. Photos will be delivered via an online gallery for digital downloading. Each session time is limited to immediate family only. If you would like more time with extended family, cousins, etc. multiple time slots will need to be booked to accommodate a group photo.  

Please arrive 15min before your session start time. 

If your child has any special-needs please be sure to let us know. Because of high-demand, payment is due in full within 24 hours of booking.

We will work very hard to get great smiles! However, it's all part of the experience! I shoot quickly and we will do our best to make the experience fun, some kids just aren't Santa fans (yet!) Come prepared to be in some of the pictures just in case! 

Please avoid discipline immediately before or during your session. I am a parent I totally understand wanting to correct bad behavior. However - after over 15 years as a children's portrait photographer - I can say with certainty that photo sessions are the exception. Bribes and redirection often work well! Remember that photo time can be an overwhelming experience for many young kids. Lots of patience and gentle reassuring goes a long way. We also have lots of little tricks we can try, so if you need help, please ask! We are always happy to support parents and kiddos to get an amazing experience and amazing results! 

As these sessions move very quickly, they are limited to immediate family (mom, dad, brothers, sisters,) ONLY per time spot. If grandparents are there and would like to jump in a photo that is usually fine - if time allows. 

Cousins, friends and any other extended family are welcome to book their own session(s) for photos and time with Santa. If multiple families book sessions back-to-back, we can certainly try to get a group cousin photo. 

Please always strive to set a good example for your kids with the highest standards of honesty and integrity. 

About 2 weeks pending everyone in my family stays healthy! Photos will be delivered via an online gallery digital download.  

*If at all possible, please do not email / message to see when your photos will be ready. If 15 days have passed since your session day, (4 days for rush editing,) then please do reach out to be sure your contact info is correct, etc. I TOTALLY get the anxious anticipation in waiting, and because I love and appreciate you all SO much, I will respond to EVERY one of your inquiries. Having to constantly stop work to respond to these messages, however, actually slows the process down further. If your photos are running behind schedule, (Lord willing - they won't!) I will be sure to let you know. (This would usually only be due to a major family emergency.) 

All photos will be taken indoors at Premier Flooring, so not a problem! 

Santa Aaron is AMAZING! He is fun, happy and loves kids! (He has four of his own!) He has been background checked and volunteers at his church regularly. He also has a degree in psychology and worked in group homes, in-home family counseling, transitional living for at-risk teens and social work for years. On weekends he loves spending time with his family, playing video games and going on adventures. Absolutely! We always try and start with a few photos without Santa regardless. We will send out more information regarding checking in, logistics, introduction of Santa, and photo day tips in an email the day before your session.

If you would not like Santa in any photos, please let me know when you book. This is not a problem at all!

It depends... We usually always try to book pets at the end of the day (as the Santa suit is sprayed down and sanitized afterwards.) We also only allow one animal in the studio area at a time.  

Friendly, smaller, hypoallergenic dogs are preferred. Sheila is very allergic to cats, (sadly - because we all love them!) 

ALWAYS ask when booking before showing up with a pet. It is considered on a case-by-case basis and scheduling is carefully considered before approval. Please let us know if the animal will be held by the owner the entire time and not touch Santa as this may factor into the approval.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY PET INTO THE STUDIO WITHOUT ASKING AND GETTING THE "OK" FROM OUR STAFF PRIOR TO YOUR SESSION. We have a LOT to coordinate, unique special needs, client and staff allergies as well as kids with mild to severe autism. We would hate to let you know upon arrival that your pet is not allowed, but if you simply show up with an animal, that is a very likely possibility. 

*All "messes" or pet accidents in the studio are the responsibility of the owner. 

I usually do share a few images publicly in a "sneak peek" post on Facebook or on my website. However, I NEVER "tag" names of parents or use any child's name in a post. You, as the parent, are more than welcome to tag and share your own images! I like to leave this up to each parent's personal preference and discretion.

*If you request that your images are not ever shared publicly, I am more than happy to accommodate and respect this. Please let me know this when you book. 

If you give at least 24 hours' notice, I will do my best to reschedule your photo session to another available mini session day/time if available. I am a parent too! I know the unexpected can happen! Refunds will not be issued; however, your payment can be put towards another regular photo session with Sheila Wilson Photography as long as it is used within one year of the purchase date.
